GAPT Tournaments is happy to announce that we will continue with our tournaments for Summer 2020! Despite the situation going on with COVID-19, we will play baseball at secured locations around the DFW. One of our locations will be Cleburne Railroader Minor League Stadium as well as some of our normal sites of high school fields and Junior College fields. Due to COVID-19, GAPT Tournaments are taking the necessary steps and precautions according to the Texas Health Mandate, CDC, and Governor Greg Abbott's guidelines. This means your kids will get to play baseball while operating under the necessary safety procedures and rules. Our tournaments will be pushed back and start now on the week of June 15th, 2020. There is an increase from our normal low fees due to the current circumstances(safety protocols, cleaning services, safety staff, media/streaming etc.), the availability to play at a $25 million minor league stadium, and the use of streaming services for our NCAA Programs, College scouts, MLB scouts and families/fans.
What to Expect for GAPT Summer 2020 Tournaments:
Tournaments at Railroader The Depot Stadium, Weatherford and Grayson Colleges, Other Possible Junior Colleges, & Local Fields
Professional Streaming Service of Games throughout the summer for Colleges and MLB Scout (Great for NCAA’s current restrictions to help recruiting and exposure for our players)
Professional Streaming Service also available to Parents and Families for a small fee (Due to the current state health guidelines we won't have fans until possibly later in the summer)
Social Media for All Games
Due to a later start date, we are adding additional weekends through Aug. 9th
Limited number of teams that can enter per age group (14’s, 15’s, 16’s, 17’s)
We are all in this together and very blessed at this time to have this opportunity. We want you to know that safety is our first priority and we are taking every measure to ensure the players, coaches, umpires, staff, and families are safe during this time but able to still enjoy the sport we love most and bring back some normalcy to the baseball community.
